Finding the right place for your horse has always been somewhat of a nightmare.  We know.  We have been there.  That is why we chose to create a place where we would be at ease if our horses had to be away from home and in someone else's care.  Our goal has always been to remain small enough to always know each guest's name and needs at all times. 



In the aftermath of injuries and surgery, proper treatment is key to help your horse recover fully. At Double J Farms, we are intimately familiar with the requirements and special needs of horses recovering from medical problems, and we work closely with your horses veterinarian throughout the process to ensure the best possible outcome. We feel that the horse's emotional wellbeing is just as important as the medical treatment prescribed.  It is still imperative that work-ethic interaction be kept as consistent as possible throughout recovery and rehabilitation.  We have developed many of our own programs which have shortened some recovery periods and improved many outcomes. 


We recognize that each horse is a unique individual, as is each prognosis.  We are always open to learning a "new way" to treat,  finding a study, or a new source of information.  After all, it IS about the journey rather than the destination. 

Located in the middle of a quiet citrus grove in Valley Center, California, we enjoy the beautiful beach weather all year.  Gated, secure, quiet and always feels like home!
